Why Use a Certified Equipment Appraiser?

Appraiser Qualifications

Certified professional appraisers have demonstrated their proficiency through testing, peer review and continuing education. We specialize in many industries including metalworking, plastics, construction, chemical, woodworking, textile, food processing, printing, rubber, steel mill and foundry machinery and equipment.

Blue Earth Equipment Appraisers undergo extensive testing and keep up to date by regularly attending required continuing education programs. AMEA members are required to acquire 70 hours of credit every five years. We continually learn and update skills from professional equipment specialists and financial experts, in both equipment valuations and what to look for in terms of conditions, accessories, tooling and other value characteristics.

A Certified Equipment Appraiser has an appraisal reviewed by a committee of peers every four years to be sure that their appraisals continue to meet the required standards and procedures, and has a network of specialists in every industrial environment for support in the field.

Certified Appraisers can help determine the best method of valuation to fit a project’s appraisal needs. You can trust a certified appraiser’s evaluation of your project requirements, whether it is a single machine or a complex structure of multiple plant locations.
